Diamonds can be cut in to a variety of shapes and the criteria for selecting a cut is wholly dependent on determining which shape will accentuate a stone’s brilliance. As a general rule white diamonds will be cut into the round classical shape to showcase their brilliance and sparkle whilst coloured diamonds react differently to light so are cut into a myriad of different shapes.
